We celebrated the official launch of the Read the World A to Z series on Friday, September 25th at The Rabbit Books & Bar in New York City.

We partnered with The Rabbit Books and Bar and Brooklyn Book Festival to launch Read the World A to Z. The series features 26 novels from 26 countries, following the alphabet and starting with Argentina, Belgium and China.
Over 100 people showed up to toast the launch of the series and meet our award-winning authors Jeremy Tiang (China) and Kit Fan (Hong Kong) and translators Alta L Price (Germany), Zia Ahmed (Oman), Michelle Mirabella (Venezuela), Samantha Schnee & Will Morningstar (Argentina) and Sean Gasper Bye.
The Read the World A to Z series has been in the works for many years, and finally arrived with a bang and mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival. The launch kicked off a four-year adventure which continues with our inaugural book club on November 12th. Join to meet authors Mariana Travacio from Argentina, Kristien Hemmerechts from Belgium and Zhang Yueran from China along with translators Samantha Schnee, Will Morningstar and Jeremy Tiang.
The series is made possible by the support of the Jan Michalski Foundation.
