Don’t miss these upcoming events with Gaëlle Josse, Pierre Jarawan and Jaap Robben

Despite the pandemic the vibrant literary festival scene is still thriving with many World Editions authors speaking at online events.  Edinburgh saw Samar Yazbek discussing her new book Planet of Clay (you can find the link to the event here Samar Yazbek: Escapism for Survival) and Pierre Jarawan will be talking about his novel, The Storyteller, at an event organised by the Qatar National Library on 15 September – more details are here: Book Discussion with German Author Pierre Jarawan

The Belfast Literary Festival will feature Gaëlle Josse, author of The Last Days of Ellis Island at a special event organised with the Institut Francais  Dominique Barbéris & Gaëlle Josse – Belfast International Arts Festival on 23 October.

And we have a ‘live’ event for the first time in months!  On 14 October, International Booker longlisted author Jaap Robben will be speaking at the Cheltenham Literary Festival at an event arranged with the assistance of the Dutch Literary Foundation: Brotherly Bonds: Jaap Robben And Jodie Chapman
